Well-being for
All Children

The Child Well-Being Research Institute (CWRI) stands at the forefront of academic excellence within the University of Kentucky’s College of Social Work. Our mission is to conduct innovative research to enhance the understanding of child development, well-being, and maltreatment prevention.

The Child Well-Being Research Network (CWRN) is a national, multidisciplinary collective uniting experts from various fields to promote child well-being and prevent maltreatment on a broader scale. This dynamic network emphasizes collaboration and knowledge-sharing among researchers, practitioners, and policymakers. Through its holistic approach, the Network generates impactful research. It ensures that its findings are translated into actionable real-world strategies.

Together, the Child Well-Being Research Institute and the Child Well-Being Research Network represent a powerful alliance dedicated to creating a safer, healthier future for all children. Our work is not just about research; it’s about making a real difference in the lives of children and their support systems. Please explore our site to learn more about our collaborative projects, our members-only network, and the transformative impact of our work.
